TOP QUESTIONS
Do you offer free consultations?
No. We do not offer free consultations. We start with a paid Strategy Session so you get actionable legal guidance, next steps, and a written scope you can rely on.
What is a strategy session and how do I get it?
A Strategy Session is a focused, paid legal planning meeting. We review your situation, identify risk, clarify options, and map next steps. If you decide to move forward, you receive a written flat-fee scope (and timeline when applicable) so expectations are clear from day one.
How soon can we start?
In most cases, we can begin quickly after (1) your Strategy Session, (2) a signed agreement, and (3) payment is processed. Timing depends on the complexity of your matter and how fast we receive your documents and responses.
What do you need from me before the Strategy Session?
At minimum: any relevant agreements, drafts, emails, screenshots, or documents connected to the issue, plus a short summary of what you want to accomplish. If you don’t have documents yet, we can still meet, but the more we can review in advance, the more precise your guidance will be.
Do you charge hourly?
Sometimes, however, most of our services are flat-fee and scope-defined. You’ll receive written terms and pricing before work begins.
Do you offer payment plans and/or financing?
Yes. If financing or installment options are available for your matter, we’ll outline them during intake. All plans require an upfront commitment and timely payments so delivery stays on schedule.
What is included in a flat-fee scope?
Your scope will list exactly what work we’re doing, the deliverables you’ll receive, how many revisions are included (if applicable), and what is outside the scope. This keeps the process controlled and prevents surprise costs.
What does "limited-scope" mean?
Limited-scope means you hire us for defined legal tasks rather than open-ended representation. Examples include: contract drafting or revisions, entity formation documents, demand letters, policy drafting, negotiation support, or defined advisory support. You stay in control of budget and pace, and we stay accountable to clear deliverables.
What type of matters do you handle?
Our practice is business-first and document-driven. Common matters include:
-
Contract drafting, review, and negotiation support
-
LLC/corporate formation and foundational governance documents
-
Business policies (terms, refunds, privacy, disclaimers, internal policies)
-
Outside general counsel support (scope-defined)
-
Business disputes support (demand letters, settlement strategy, documentation preparation)
What type of matters do you NOT handle?
We do not accept matters outside our business-focused model. That includes family law, criminal defense, and open-ended litigation representation. If you’re unsure whether we’re a fit, the Strategy Session is the right place to clarify.
Do you go to court or appear at court hearings?
In most cases, our work is structured for advisory and document-based deliverables. Court appearances and litigation representation are not part of our standard model. If your matter requires court involvement, we’ll tell you clearly and discuss options.
How will we communicate if you don’t want phone calls?
We prioritize written communication through a secure client portal. You can upload documents, send messages, track progress, and e-sign deliverables. Meetings are scheduled when needed, but we keep routine communication organized and documented.
How does the secure client portal work?
You’ll receive portal access for messaging, document uploads, invoice/payment, and e-signing. It keeps everything in one place so nothing gets lost in texts or scattered email threads.
What does “deal-grade” drafting mean?
It means documents written to be usable in the real world: clear, enforceable, and consistent with your business goals. We draft with the expectation that a counterparty, bank, platform, or court could read it, so it needs to hold up.
Where do you serve clients?
We handle Georgia business matters statewide. For clients outside Georgia, we offer attorney-drafted templates and educational resources where appropriate. If your situation requires state-specific legal representation outside Georgia, we’ll tell you up front.
Will you review a contract “real quick” over email?
Not outside an engagement. Contract review requires context, risk analysis, and documented advice. The Strategy Session is the fastest way to get a real answer that you can rely on.
What if I need ongoing support?
Ongoing support is available through a defined, flat-fee counsel scope. We’ll structure it around your needs (contracts, compliance, negotiations, and risk management), with clear deliverables and response expectations.
